Question 1

How do I turn a Mixamo character into a FiveM ped?

Accepted Answer

Sign in, drop the Mixamo .fbx (exported with skin) into the editor, check the bone mapping and the animation preview, then export. You get a resource with the ped model, its textures and its peds.meta entry. No Blender, OpenIV or CodeWalker needed.

Question 2

Can it auto-rig a model with no skeleton?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Drop an unrigged humanoid (.fbx, .glb, .gltf, .obj or .stl) and the editor places a skeleton and skin weights in your browser, like Mixamo does, then shows the joints so you can drag any that sit wrong. Auto-rigging is experimental and subject to error: check the joints and play a few clips before you export.

Question 3

Will it move like a normal GTA V ped?

Accepted Answer

The ped is built on the game's own ped skeleton, so GTA V animations drive it. Exact GTA proportions keeps the stock GTA skeleton and behaves the most like a vanilla ped. The editor plays game clips on it before you export, so you can check the shoulders, hips and feet first.

Question 4

What are the proportion modes?

Accepted Answer

Character proportions with T-pose shoulders, the default, keeps the character's own bone lengths and its own shoulder pose. Character proportions keeps the bone lengths and poses the arms into the GTA rest pose. Exact GTA proportions fits the character onto the stock GTA skeleton. Each one is previewed before you export.

Question 5

Which models work?

Accepted Answer

Standing humanoid characters, rigged or not. Rigged .fbx (Mixamo), .glb and .gltf files keep their own skeleton when its bones can be matched to a human skeleton. A model without one is auto-rigged in your browser. On auto-rigged peds, capes, long robes and long hair move stiffly and the hands stay rigid.

Question 6

Can I put several peds in one resource?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A project is one resource: up to 5 peds on a free account and 50 for Supporters, exported together.
