How do I make a custom add-on weapon for FiveM?

Sign in, drop in your 3D model, move it into the ped's hand, pick a weapon class and set the stats, then export. You get a complete drop-in resource with the weapon model, weapons.meta, weaponarchetypes.meta, weaponanimations.meta, pedpersonality.meta and the weapon names. No ZModeler, OpenIV or CodeWalker needed.

Will the weapon sit in the hand the same way in game?

Yes. The editor uses the same grip rule as GTA V: the preview hand is posed with the real game animations for each weapon class, and the export places the model exactly where you saw it.

Which weapon types are supported?

Pistol, combat pistol, AP pistol, assault rifle, carbine, SMG, machine pistol, pump shotgun, sniper rifle, machine gun, minigun, RPG launcher, knife and bat. Each class uses the matching GTA V animations, sounds and behaviour.

Can I put several weapons in one resource?

Yes. A project is one resource: up to 5 weapons on a free account and 50 for Supporters. Each weapon has its own model, class, stats, muzzle and textures, and they all export together.
